The Marcel Proust Promenade
The Marcel Proust promenade that runs along the seafront is the longest promenade in Europe reserved for pedestrians. For a peaceful stroll or jog along the seafront, this walk covers nearly 4 km from Franceville to Cap Cabourg.

The Grand Hotel
The Grand Hotel, the town's legendary and emblematic building, is situated in the heart of this seaside resort, as well as the casino and its beautiful gardens. During the belle époque, Marcel Proust used to stay here accompanied sometimes by his friend George Sand.

The beach
Cabourg beach, also called the romantic beach, is a vast sandy beach that will delight couples and families alike. Cabourg beach offers all the usual seaside pleasures such as walking, swimming, and various water activities.

Hippodrome de Cabourg
Each year the best horses in France gather for the famous night races of this brand new racecourse, also called the "_petit Vincennes normand_" famous night races. You can watch the races from the stands or the panoramic restaurant.
